Please join us for a webinar featuring the CASEL Program Guide team: Drs. Robert Jagers, Ally Skoog-Hoffman, Alaina Boyle, Brittney Williams, Colin Ackerman, and Heather Schwartz. Anticipating a 2021 update of CASEL’s most frequently accessed resource, the CASEL Guide to Effective SEL Programs, CASEL has published revised criteria for evidence-based SEL programming. The revised criteria reflect the significant progress the field has made—such as in academic integration, equity, adult SEL, and partnerships with family and community programming. These advancements are also reflected in CASEL’s updated definition of SEL.
In this presentation, the team will discuss their learnings in how the field is approaching SEL in service of equity, and how equity strategies are being incorporated in the program design stage of the program review process.
