Anticipating a 2021 update of CASEL’s most frequently accessed resource, the CASEL Guide to Effective SEL Programs, CASEL has published revised criteria for evidence-based SEL programming. The revised criteria reflect the significant progress the field has made – such as in academic integration, equity, adult SEL, and partnerships with family and community programming. These advancements are also reflected in CASEL’s updated definition of SEL.
